Lidl First to Verify Its Fruit and Vegetable Range

Lidl has become the first grocery retailer to have its fruit and vegetable range independently verified under the Testfakta Verified Fruit & Vegetables programme. The verification focuses on pesticide residues, traceability and systematic controls throughout the supply chain.

The program requires regular independent laboratory testing and continuous follow-up, with pesticide residue levels kept well below EU legal limits.
